PCHS Grad Appreciation

Posted on:

Parkland Composite High School’s (PCHS) Grade 12 students showed an incredible amount of resilience and grit when it came to navigating online schooling, and adapting to new protocols and procedures, as they adjusted to a new normal of schooling during a pandemic. The Class of 2021 was thankful for the chance to be back in person, even if it was not the senior year that they had expected. They also recognized the hard work and extra measures that their school custodian, Deborah, did on a daily basis to keep them all safe. Throughout the school day, Deborah could be found cleaning, disinfecting, and spreading her cheerful attitude to the students. To express their thanks, the Grade 12's ordered her a Class of 2021 hoodie in honour of her crucial role in keeping PCHS clean and safe so students could be in school together for their final months of high school. All of the staff and students at GYPSD are thankful to everyone in their tireless efforts to keep our schools clean, safe, and open for learning!
