GNS: Evansview Celebrates their Heroes

Students at Evansview Elementary School have been participating in a Terry Fox Theme Week to learn about the impact Terry Fox had and continues to have on Canada. Staff decided Hero Day would fit nicely with the theme week and with their monthly school spirit activity, and had the Grade 5/6 students volunteer to promote the Hero Day event. Students were excited to show their Superhero costumes and it was very touching to see the students who decided to dress like one of their parents who is their hero!
