GNS: Let's Talk

Posted on:

Bell Let’s Talk is an annual campaign that encourages a national conversation about mental health and promotes awareness and action built on anti-stigma, care and access, research, and workplace health.

Since its inception, Bell Let’s Talk has grown to become one of the most nationally recognized and successful mental health awareness campaigns in North America.

As a Board Priority, GYPSD ensures every student in the Division has access to at least one adult in their school to whom they can go to talk. In addition to the BEST coaches, the FSLCs, and the Wellness Navigators, students are encouraged to make use of the many resources available to them through the Kids Help Phone association, and more recently, an Alberta-specific platform called Kickstand where in addition to mental health support, they can reach out for counseling support to address substance use: anytime, anywhere, completely private.

Be part of the change on January 24 and every day!
