GNS: Fulham's Literacy Day

In support of Family Literacy Day on January 27th, schools across GYPSD celebrated the love of reading with their students. Fulham School had a "Dress as Your Favorite Book Character" day. They also spent the afternoon doing literacy-focused activities. Students enjoyed:

reading Bear Feels Scared, by Karma Wilson, and making a lantern similar to what Bear has in the story;

playing a "Roll a Story" dice game to direct the story they are writing, and

designing and building new bookmarks.
