PGMS Democracy in Action

École Pine Grove teacher Timothy Bohn has brought democracy to life...literally! And as a result, the Grade 6 French Immersion class at École Pine Grove has some new pets. Mr. Bohn and the students held a mock election to learn about democracy in action. The elected Premier of the class didn't waste any time creating her first bill...acquiring a class pet. The Premier's bill passed first and second readings and received Royal Assent. The Grade 6 students are pleased to introduce 6F's newest constituents: Pascal, Dumbledore, Peeves, Neptune, Big Bobby, Dobby and Kenny. The class is very excited!
